Homework book: You need to prepare for two “New Words” practice books (distributed by school) and two “Composition” books, all of them marked with Book A or B for each kind. “New Words Book” is used for new words practice only while “Composition Book” is for all other homework practice.

LESSON 1 (L1) “我们的作品”
1. New Words:	Write the 10 new words on page 4 five times each and spell in Pinyin on top of each word.
生字：	请将第4页上的10个生字用简体和其拼音各写五遍。
2. Workbook A:	Pages 1 - 4
练习册A本：	第1－ 4
3. Phase:	Make two phases for “作，照，举，展“each.
组词：	用以上四个字各组两个词组。
4. Review:	Read L1 text three times each day; memorize and practice, with the parents’ help, the 10 new words, their Pinyins and the designated 4 phrases.
复习：	每天朗诵第1课课文三遍；默写所学的10 个生字和其拼音及其标定的4 个词语。
5. Presentation:	Read L1 loud to the class (readers’ selection: by teacher).
演讲：	向全班朗诵第1 课课文 (朗读者由老师任选)。
6. Preview:	Read L2 and L3 texts as fluently as you can.
预习：	请熟读第2和第3 课课文。
